Evening Prayer
Evening Prayer, also known as Vespers, is celebrated in the choir stalls on Sundays during Advent and Christmas and Lent at 3:00pm.
Evening Prayer consists of the singing of a hymn and psalms, the proclamation of the Word of God and prayers for the Church and the world. At the end of Evening Prayer everyone processes to the Lady Chapel for the singing of the Marian antiphon.
Morning Prayer
Thursdays throughout the year and every Tuesday during Advent and Lent, we celebrate Morning Prayer at 9:15am in the Saint Joseph Chapel (20 minutes in length).
Morning Prayer consists of the singing of a hymn and Psalms; proclamation of the Word of God and prayers for the Church and the world.
Sacrament of Marriage
The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated on Friday at 5:00pm and on Saturday at 12:00nn and 3:00pm (save during Advent and Lent).
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated every Saturday at 9:00am in the Saint Augustine Reconciliation Chapel, located in the Saint Joseph Chapel on the ground level of The Basilica. You may also make an appointment.
