The Basilica purchases Scrip gift cards through a distributor with cash up front, so participating retailers offer substantial discounts. The Basilica then re-sells the gift cards to you for full face value. Discounts range from 2% to 20% and this money is The Basilica’s revenue. You can redeem the gift cards for their full face value. For example, if you purchase a $25 gift card, it is worth the full $25 value.

- Reloadable gift cards – from 20 plus vendors, ready to use in 24 hours from Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, CVS Pharmacy, Lowes, AMC Theaters, Papa John’s and Mobil Gas.
- Monthly promotions – nationwide retailers offer extra dollars on your gift cards or extra rebates to The Basilica.
- Tax deductions – A recent IRS ruling allows for donated rebates to be treated as charitable contributions. As an online customer, you will be able to print the report needed to track the rebates to The Basilica from your purchases.
