Black Theology
Fr. Richard Cogill
March 4, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Saints Ambrose/Teresa Room

Fr. Richard Cogill, an Anglican priest from South Africa, will share how theologians like Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Allan Boesak approached theology during his country's struggle against apartheid, and how black theology in South Africa differs from theologies by African American theologians like James Cone in the United States. He will also show points of contrast between theological approaches developed in the West with approaches developed in Africa.
