Seven downtown Minneapolis church choirs and nearly 400 combined voices joined together February 15 for the ninth biennial choral festival.
Entitled, "May we be your Music," the festival was woven around the sections of the Mass.
A new commissioned piece, "All the Beautiful Names," by Minnesota composer Timothy Takach with text by Michael Dennis Browne served as the Credo of the Mass.
Participating choirs included the Basilica of Saint Mary, Central Lutheran, Hennepin Avenue United Methodist, Plymouth Congregational, Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Saint Olaf Catholic, and Westminster Presbyterian.
