 Gregorian Vespers is Evening Prayer in its venerable ancient form using Gregorian Chant.

When and where do we pray Gregorian Vespers?

  • On select Sundays of the year at 3:00pm 

  • In the Choir Stalls of The Basilica

  • Currently, there are no dates scheduled for Gregorian Vespers.

What happens during Gregorian Vespers?

  • Singing of a hymn and psalms in Latin

  • Proclamation of the Word of God
  • Prayers for the Church and the world

At the end of Vespers everyone processes to the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception for the singing of the Marian antiphon.
