Young Family Ministry
Often parents wonder how to help pass on faith to their children at their earliest ages, before they begin faith formation. Parents of our youngest children (0-4) are welcome to join our young family ministry. In the midst of busy family life, we provide opportunities for parents in nourishing their own faith and their children’s. We also know how important it is to know other people in the parish who are in your same life stage is, so we provide opportunities for families to build community at The Basilica. We have had book studies, speakers, picnics, and more for our families, and will continue to offer periodic opportunities to come together. Contact Ben for more information.
MOMMs Ministry (Mary our Mother Mom)
The group's mission is to provide a supportive community for mothers to enrich their personal spirituality, be a source of encouragement for the vocation of motherhood, and provide a connection with other mothers who are raising their children in the Catholic faith.
All are welcome! Child care is provided in the room next door. We always appreciate volunteers for the nursery who have been trained in the Essential 3 requirements (VIRTUS session, background check and signing of code of conduct).
Please join us, and together we will journey through the challenges and blessings of motherhood. We meet every other Wednesday of each month at 9:30-11:30am in the Catherine of Siena room on the lower level. Please see the specific dates listed below. Contact Ben for more information.
