Justice and Healing: A Visitation of Captive Art
Art From A Touch a Light
Exhibition: August 28 – September 26, 2021
John XXIII Gallery and Teresa of Calcutta Hall
Opening Reception: Sunday August 29, 1:00 PM
A Touch of Light works with Captive Artists from around the world, using the arts to create social change and second chances for families of the incarcerated, and for prisoners being released with little or no support.
A Touch of Light believes that every person, no matter their past, deserves a chance at a new beginning. Every person deserves a spark of hope. Every life deserves a Touch of Light.
Art in every form and every medium can be found in places of captivity around the world made by Captive Artists™ who struggle to bring some light and meaning into the darkness of their circumstances.
