Learn and Connect: Resources to Take Action

If you would like to support refugees, there are many ways to do so.

The Advocates for Human Rights mobilizes volunteers to address some of the most pressing issues of our time because we believe that everyone has the power to advance human rights. Volunteers engage in hands-on human rights work, helping The Advocates accomplish critical research and advocacy and transforming themselves into advocates for human rights. Get Help for Refugees

The Advocates mobilizes legal professionals throughout the United States to represent adults, families, and children who are fleeing persecution, torture, and trafficking, as well as people in immigration detention.

We prioritize representation for people whose household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and live or are detained in MN, ND or SD.

Start the process by calling our client intake line at 612.341.9845 or fill out the online form.

If you are outside our service area, ImmigrationLawHelp.org is a searchable online directory of over 1,000 free or low-cost nonprofit immigration legal services providers in all 50 states.

Engage Locally

You can make a big difference by reaching out to your local refugee agencies to volunteer, donate, or invite to speak to a group you’re a part of.

At LSS Refugee Services, we are grateful for the many ways our community steps up to support refugee neighbors.
