Christopher Stroh has been The Basilica’s Organist since September 2006. He accompanies The Basilica Cathedral Choir and provides organ music at our 5:00pm, 7:30am, and 9:30am weekend Masses and many other liturgies. In addition, Christopher manages The Basilica’s Ministry of Cantors and Psalmists. He also coordinates guest ensembles at our 5:00pm Saturday Mass, October through May. Before joining The Basilica’s staff, Christopher served as organ scholar at The Cathedral of Saint Paul while finishing his M.A. in Organ and Sacred Music at Saint John’s University. Christopher participates in the American Guild of Organists, the National Association of Pastoral Musicians,and the Conference of Roman Catholic Cathedral Musicians. He regularly appears in recital and has been aired on MPR’s program Pipedreams.
